A Saturday Thrift Run

Yesterday I decided at last minute to go thrifting to VV and SallyA, seeing as the weather was absolutely beautiful and warm. Got some lovely vintagenalia for my efforts.

A Holt Howard Girl Cat Salt or Pepper Shaker. It is pretty dinged up and scuffed, and
it is missing the noisemaker mechanism in the bottom. Plus, I bought a pristine set of the
same salt and pepper shakers a few months ago.

But who can resist a Holt Howard Cat for $1.99?
 Not I.

Look at the little flapjacks! This adorable vintagelinen  poodle towel was on the Sally Ann rolling rack waiting to be put out on the floor.

It never made it.

It still has the original pure linen tag on it, and I'm guessing it is from the 50s.
Made in Poland.

Vintage Waterman`s Ink Bottle (still very full) and Skrip Sheaffer`s Ink in Emerald Green

Almost a full bottle and with box. The bottle label was still there in the box.
