Odds and Ends Bought Lately at the Thrift Store

All purchases shown are from Value Village. I guess the price of the day was $1.99!!!

4 packages of sweet Christmas invitations from the 60's, unopened. Itty Bitty but oh so pretty.

An exciting pack of vintage Christmas invites

My favourite is the package of Gibson "Open House" invitations.
They have mica snow on the front! Why don't they make cards like this anymore?

I also picked up 5  Starbucks City Mugs from the Architecture series.
Very streamlined and cool looking.

I got the ones from Canada, Miami, Montreal, Orange County, and Los Angeles. They are quite large and heavier than I thought they would be, after seeing these so many times online.

This adorable egg coddler made me so happy! It is in great condition and marked Japan on the bottom.

Slow but Steady

Well, the holidays are over! Thankfully the thrift store offerings are getting somewhat better. Around the holidays, there were meagre offerings...lots of junk and dollar store items! It seems to have picked up, though, because today I found a handful of squee! items.

A wee Pyrex fridgie in the Spring Blossom pattern, no lid. Waahh!

Bought at Salvation Army, $1.99

Love this one as well! At the same SA, I also snatched up this mint condition Peanuts Snoopy and "Peppermint Patty" ceramic cereal bowl made by Another Determined Production. Don't you just love the look of surprise on her face??

We all need someone to kiss away our tears!

Awww!

I paid 79 cents! Woo hoo!

I have the matching mug too, just have to dig it out from my storage, and I can display them together. I just love Snoopy ceramic items!

I also found a gorgeous silk Liberty of London scarf at Value Value across the street, which I will put up for sale on ebay later on. I will get a picture up soon.
